MJ Hibbett: Dinosaur Planet

With a limited run in 2010 after last year’s success, cult musician Hibbett, a fave of Steve Lamacq and cultish only because so few people know his genius, returns with his musical about heroes and teamwork, like some extended Barney the Dinosaur for grown-ups with musical sensibilities with added friend “a man in a tee-shirt”. Memorable songs, dino masks, wigs, hilarious rhymes and knock-knock sight gags all combined for increased merriment at a noontime hour of amusement.

You really did miss it at (pun alert) your peril. Try the DVD when it comes out. Indeed, fifty-five minutes felt far too short, but the world was somehow saved. I felt long-changed, if such a thing can exist.
