Aidan Bishop: Adaptable

It’s never a good sign when you’re trying to spot the time on the performer’s watch to see how much more you have to sit through. New York born Bishop has the confidence to go on stage, but, unfortunately, has zero charisma to go with it. His material is sloppy and amateurish at best. Taking a dig at the new generation of tight jeans and the i-phone obsessed, his material is perhaps currently clichéd, but it’s the lack of intelligible witty breakdown that led me to grind my teeth and wished that I had done my research before hand. If anything, Aiden comes off as a bit of a jock, ironically, the sort of people we’d rather make fun of, not hear from. In comparison to his peers, this act is anti-comedy.
