Saturday at Sneaky Pete's promises to be a good one kicking off with local indie-folk 5 piece Matt Norris & The Moon who have just a hint of Mumford and Sons about them. Headliners Chasing Owls have been making all sorts of waves in the last year and are definitely a band to catch if folk-pop is your kind of thing.
However, the highlight of the night for me will surely be Bear Bones. Sandwiched between the two Edinburgh bands, their particular brand of sweet lyrical pop-folk is hard to not fall in love with. Polished yet at the same time fragile, charismatic frontman Ben Harrison's vocals rarely follow the beaten path and add that special something to make the band unmissable.
Look out for a session with Bear Bones on these very pages in the near future but in the mean time here is the video for their single Oil & Lacquer.
