The First Minister of Wales and Leader of Welsh Labour, Carwyn Jones, was in Edinburgh tonight, hosting a lecture entitled “Wales, Scotland, and the United Kingdom”, in which he set out his position on the independence debate.
The lecture had three main points of focus. First outlining the recent experience of devolution in Wales, the First Minister then went on to make the case for establishing a stable territorial constitution for the UK, before questioning what the union is for in the 21st century.
