It is 100 days until the opening ceremony of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. But before that can happen the Queens Baton, containing a message from the Queen to be read out at the ceremony, is making a tour of all of the 70 competing nations.

On the 14th June the Baton will arrive in Scotland for its final 40 day stretch. Over that time 4000 batonbearers will pass the baton around Scotland including University of Edinburgh student and FreshAir Head of Events, Charles Lang.

To mark 100 days to go, Alice Carr spoke to him about his role.
