FreshAir hosted a charity auction on Monday 25th November for partner charity Waverley Care which raised over £1000.
The event, hosted at the Voodoo Rooms in Edinburgh, saw donated “lots” from numerous shops, organisations and families up for auction.
A date with FreshAir’s Head of Events Sam Miller was auctioned - to manager Eve Livingston - while the star lot - a week’s stay in a Spanish Villa for eight people - was snapped up by some students from the University of Edinburgh.
Waverley Care is Scotland’s largest charity providing care and support to people living with HIV and Hepatitis C, and to their partners, families and carers. As part of their work they also strive to raise awareness of these conditions and their prevention. More info is available at www.waverleycare.org
Other lots for auction included Winter Wonderland Ice-skating tickets at the Princes Street festive market, a pair of Tom Odell tickets and a meal at Café Andaluz on George Street in Edinburgh.
FreshAir thanked Martin Cornish from Ramsay Cornish Auctioneer and Valuers, and his assistant Euan, for running the auction.
The event was organised by joint Heads of Fundraising at FreshAir, Naomi Hogget and Lily Bailie. A total of 23 lots were auctioned on the night.
